| Ettore Bilotta grew up in Rome, after he had spent his youthful years in a context where inspiration comes on carried by a glorious ancient history.
His apprentice technique was to learn by doing. He believed he had to learn the future by the past.
In Zurich, twenty five years ago, he had the responsibility of a prêt-à-porter women collection. Then he experienced haute-couture design at the Curiel’s atelier in Milan, and in Lancetti’s couture house in Rome.
Well known for the design of evening gowns and wedding dresses, he also produces sophisticated accessories. His mannequins are wrapped in unique fairytale dresses, playing on the opaque lights of couture tailoring and ornate embroidery. |
