La Guardia di Finanza

La Guardia di Finanza è il Corpo più antico dello Stato e già nel 1774 operava per proteggere le frontiere. Dopo la proclamazione del Regno d’Italia, nel 1881 fu chiamato Corpo della Regia Guardia di Finanza.

I compiti di questo corpo divennero sempre più complessi e oggi rappresenta un unicum nel panorama delle forse di polizia del mondo perché unisce compiti di polizia e di polizia economico finanziaria.

The Guardia di Finanza is the most ancient Corps of the State: in 1774 it was already operating to protect the borders. After the declaration of the Kingdom of Italy in 1881, it was named "Regia Guardia di Finanza Corps".

The duties of this Corps became more and more complex and nowadays it is a "unicum" among the other Police Corps all over the world because it performs both the police duties and those of an economic financial police. For this reason, they have also become one of the main Italian Institution engaged in the protection of the "Made in Italy" all over the world. In 2005, they launched the Anticounterfeiting Campaign for the quality safeguard of Italian products.
